Check out the 6 Spanish startups that will compete at EU-Startups Summit in Barcelona

The EU-Startups Summit pitch competition is coming to Barcelona on April 24, and six Spanish startups will be competing for a prize package worth €68,000.

The EU-Startups Summit 2018 will bring together about 750 founders, startup enthusiasts, corporates, angel investors, VCs, as well as media people from all across Europe. The one-day event is an opportunity for networking, and a meeting point for aspiring entrepreneurs and investors who are aiming to build international tech companies.

Six Spanish startups will be competing in the pitch competition, along with nine other startups from across Europe.

According to EU-Startups, “The winning startup will receive a prize package worth €68,000. The package includes prizes/credits from cloud technology provider Aruba Cloud (value: €50,000), social media monitoring tool Senti.One(value: €9,000), the project management & invoicing solution Teamleader (value: €3,300), Spaces.coworking membership for 2 people / 1 year (value: €3,600), the design marketplace 99designs (value: €1,500) and our Job Board (value: €600).”

Here are the six Spanish startups that will compete at the EU-Startups Summit pitch competition:

Arbor – Madrid: Fintech startup Arbor is a tool that works with your current bank account and allows you to generate recurring day-to-day savings in small quantities without impacting your lifestyle.

Digitail – Barcelona: Designed with love by tech and health professionals, Digitail is a software startup for veterinary clinics that is AI-enhanced, fully customizable and easy to use.

Eelp! – Barcelona: The full personal attention app that allows users to delegate daily needs. In one year it has managed to manage more than 4,500 services in the main cities of Spain.

Landbot – Valencia: Transforms websites into Conversational Experiences with a focus on helping companies with lead generation.

Medicsen – Madrid: Founder Eduardo Jorgensen was named Spain’s innovator of the year in 2017 by MIT Technology Review. Medicsen is a non-invasive artificial pancreas for diabetes based on a learning algorithm, a chatbot app and a needle-free insulin smartpatch.

Play2Speak – Madrid: Play2Speak combines artificial intelligence and storytelling to create engaging conversational experiences that enable language learners to practice and improve their fluency.

EU-Startups’ annual flagship event showcases a selection of Europe’s hottest startups and come together to learn from some of the most successful European entrepreneurs of our time.

The EU-Startups Summit 2018 takes place April 24 at the Auditori AXA in Barcelona.
