“In the DNA of everis there has always been a priority on the development of our internal talent, the integral growth of our customers, and social progress. With the launch of the everis LivingLab, we take a step forward in this philosophy. We want this new center to be an open space where innovation can work together to face the technological challenges that are transforming the business and social ecosystem,” said Fritz Hoderlein, CEO at everis Europe.

Located in carrer de Pedro i Pons, 6-8 in the city of Barcelona, the everis LivingLab will have more than 2,350 square meters of open and multifunctional spaces, divided into four floors, where a wide range of activities will be developed that cover everything the innovation process:

Showroom

everis will show the innovation initiatives and future vision proposals of everis and NTT DATA, in different technological and business areas.

Design

• Co-creation: The lab will carry out co-creation sessions with design-thinking methodologies to develop new ideas, processes, services and products. These co-creation sessions are planned both internally, involving various everis units, and externally, involving clients, strategic partners and other agents such as NTT or end users.

• Incubation / acceleration of ideas service: everis will have an intensive program of accompaniment and advice for the development and evaluation of ideas with the potential to become new products or services. They can be ideas that come from the co-creation processes of the Living Lab itself or from everis internal processes.

Prototype & Validation

The LivingLab has a team specialized in rapid prototyping to accelerate solutions through the use of agile sprints and other development methodologies: construction and testing of PoCs, pilots and demos and test drive ideas and rapid iterations.

Learn

The LivingLab also hosts the Innovation School – innCub3 de everis, through which creativity and innovation training is deployed.

The work around the different technological domains will materialize collaboratively through the different services offered by the LivingLab throughout the innovation value chain.

It is expected that during 2018, more than 500 professionals from everis will participate in the innovation workshops that will be held in the new center and that more than 40 organizations (such as large companies, startups, research centers and universities) will be part of the co-creation dynamics that will take place.
